Growing up in a White home as a biracial transracial adoptee has been an interesting experience for Kevin D. Hofmann. From that experience came his memoir entitled "Growing Up Black In White" which shares what it was like to be adopted at 3 months old by a white minister and his wife who already had 3 biological children of their own. Writing the book has afforded Kevin the opportunity to travel all over the United States speaking and training foster and adoptive parents as well as child welfare professionals. The highlights of his career have been being interviewed by Nightline ABC and NPR.
Recently due to his rich multicultural background, he has also being given the opportunity to teach on multiculturalism at the university level and work with school districts and organizations on diversity and inclusion.
